Federal Judge Repeats Ruling In SSA Workers Case

A federal judge has again ruled against Steamship Authority workers seeking to be exempt from the agency's COVID vaccine policy.

The eleven workers say they are unhappy with the new district court ruling, and are now considering an appeal to a higher court.

The group claims to have religious and First Amendment reasons for seeking the exemption.

The authority operates ferry services for passengers and vehicles between Cape Cod and Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
