A Florida resident was seriously injured in an accident in Falmouth on Wednesday.
Police say the 67-year-old woman was in a pedestrian crosswalk in the 100 block of Main Street when she was struck Wednesday afternoon just after 4 pm.
Investigators say she was taken to Falmouth Hospital, and then airlifted to a regional trauma center.
The victim's name was not released.
The vehicle operator, identified only as a 19-year-old man from East Falmouth, remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
