- A three-alarm fire broke out in East Falmouth Sunday afternoon.
Crews were called to Rivers Edge Road just after 1 pm.
The home was unoccupied, but officials say three firefighters were injured, one of whom fell through the first floor into the basement.
Colleagues performed a rescue, and the unnamed individual was airlifted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Two others were treated at Falmouth Hospital, and all are expected to recover.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
