Mashpee Voters Ready To Head To Polls

Mashpee's special election is set for November 28th, and there will be one question on the ballot.

Voters will be asked to override Proposition 2-and-a-half to fund a town wastewater project.

It would involve appropriation and borrowing of over seven-million-dollars for the planning and design of wastewater collection, treatment, and related initiatives.

The measure was approved overwhelmingly at the October 16th town meeting but failed to reach the required two-thirds majority vote.

Polling stations are at the Mashpee Senior Center, Town Hall, and Public Library for the five precincts.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
