Yarmouth residents gathered for a special town meeting on Tuesday and approved a zoning change, regarding restrictions on so-called accessory apartments.
The article passed with a two-thirds majority and allows property owners to select their tenants and set rental fees.
Residents also approved more than one-million-dollars in wastewater projects.
An article calling for amendments to the current wetlands bylaw was withdrawn.
