LG: Soon Shelter Space Will All Be Filled

Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll says the state is almost out of shelter space.

Driscoll yesterday SAID that around 75 hundred families are enrolled in the state emergency shelter system, which amounts to 23-thousand people.

Driscoll said that it will not be long before all of the available shelter are full.

She's also reiterating Governor Maura Healey's call for the federal government to help with the crisis.

So far there has been no response from The White House.
