Chatham Town Meeting Says No To Senior Center

A proposed new senior center in Chatham did not pass at a special town meeting on Monday.

This is the third time in two years voters were asked to consider the facility at 1610 Main Street.

The debate over a new senior center, otherwise known as a council on aging building, has been going on in Chatham for more than a decade.
