The Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office is taking advantage of the Massachusetts Legislature's decision to boost his office budget.
The Cape Cod Times reports Robert Galibois has hired assistant attorney general Vanessa Madge as his new chief of child protection and human trafficking.
Madge will work with Orleans police chief Scott MacDonald, who according to Galibois has made the issue of human trafficking a top priority for all police departments in the region.
