Convicted Killer To Give Up Thousands

Thomas Latanowich, the man convicted of murdering Yarmouth police officer Sean Gannon, reached a plea deal in Barnstable Superior Court on Monday.

The agreement will result in a civil forfeiture of money.

Police found about 25-thousand dollars in a hole-in-the-wall when they arrested Latanowich at his house for the Gannon shooting in 2018.

Another four-thousand dollars was found on his person.

Latanowich was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years following his conviction in 2021.
