Red Sox End First Half On A Roll

The Red Sox came from behind in their finale against the Athletics to sweep the three-game series in Boston.

The Sox topped Oakland 4-3 at Fenway Park.

Chris Martin was credited with the win after pitching a scoreless inning of relief.

Kenley Jansen secured his 19th save of the season after striking out one over a scoreless ninth inning.

Adam Duvall and Masataka Yoshida each went deep for Boston, which is last in the AL East at 48-and-43.

Ken Waldichuk was tagged with the loss after allowing one run over an inning and a third of relief.

Brent Rooker went three for three at the dish with a walk and a solo homer.

The A's are now last in the AL West at 25-and-67.
