Sox Lose To Marlins-Allowing 19 Hits & Ten Runs

The Marlins' winning streak is up to three games after blowing out the Red Sox 10-1 in their series opener at Fenway Park.

Sandy Alcantara was credited with the victory after striking out five batters and allowing one run over seven innings of work.

Bryan De La Cruz and Jean Segura each went deep in the win for Miami, which is second in the NL East at 46-and-34.

Garrett Whitlock was charged with the loss after allowing six runs on 11 hits over four and two-thirds innings.

Alex Verdugo drove in the only run of the game for Boston, which is last in the AL East at 40-and-40.
