A pair of public meetings are being held on Wednesday to update residents on the proposed runway extension at Cape Cod Gateway Airport.
The first one is a virtual meeting and 2 p.m. and the other is being held in person at Barnstable Town Hall at 6:00.
Plans are on the table that would extend one of the airport's runways by about a quarter mile, something that drew a lot of concerns during a public comment period in January.
Airport officials say they plan to address those concerns during Wednesday's meetings.
The new extension and some facility improvements will cost about 20-million-bucks to complete.
