Guilty Plea From Local Restaurant Owner

A former Plymouth restaurant owner is pleading guilty to federal tax charges.

The Justice Department alleged Rudolph Ferrucci kept two sets of records for Sandy's seasonal beachfront bar, which only accepted cash, and also paid employees under the table.

Prosecutors say the actions led Ferrucci to under-report his earnings by over a million dollars, causing a loss to the IRS of over 200-grand. Ferrucci faces up to a decade in federal prison at sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.
