U.S. Senate Passes Daylight Saving Time Bill

The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed the "Sunshine Protection Act", which would make daylight saving time permanent around the country.

Sen. Ed Markey was a sponsor. It now moves onto the house.

Senator Marco Rubio says if passed in the house, implementation would start in late 2023.
