High Gas Prices May Affect Summer Travel To Cape Cod

Soaring gas prices may negatively affect summer travel to the Cape this summer.

Manager at Cape Cod Gateway Airport Katie Servis says the soaring cost of a barrel of oil will inevitably increase operating costs for airliners there.

This increased cost of business will be put on the passenger through ticket prices.

Servis says it doesn’t stop at just air travel.

She says if people can’t travel to the Cape, they can’t spend money here either.
