A new report from the state indicates that almost half of the Massachusetts hospitalizations for Coronavirus were incidental.
The state report says 51% of those hospitalized for Covid on Tuesday were seriously ill from the virus.
However, the other 49% were hospitalized for other reasons, then later tested positive for Coronavirus.
The state began reporting primary and incidental hospitalization data yesterday.
