Lightning strikes damaged three homes in Dennis during a storm that moved through the area late Friday night.
Just after 11, fire fighters were called to 25 Country Lane where they encountered heavy smoke in the basement of the home after a strike, and eventually located and extinguished the fire.
Meanwhile, two houses were damaged around the same time on Chandler Drive, with damage dealt to the electrical systems due to lightning.
