V.S. Great Western Dennis has proposed to construct a 3.119-megawatt solar array with battery storage on a former driving range property in South Dennis.
The Cape Cod Commission will review the project, on 8.5 acres of the 13.9-acre parcel, as a development of regional impact, according to commission files.
The land, located at 131 Great Western Road, was previously a sand-and-gravel operation, and then a golf driving range called the Longest Drive, but has not been used for about five years, according to the Commission.
