Jury Selection Begins In Latanowich Trial

Jury selection began Monday for the murder trial of Thomas Latonowich – the man accused of shooting and killing Yarmouth Police Sergeant Sean Gannon in 2018.

WBZ-TV was there and says Judge Jeffrey Locke laid out an expected timeline for the trial, saying it could take the rest of August to present all evidence.

The defense asked the judge to reconsider a motion for a change of venue, but it was declined.

9 of 16 jurors were selected during yesterday's proceedings.
