State Warns Residents Of Mosquito-Borne Illnesses

With the Covid threat in the rear-view mirror, the state department of public health is reminding residents of the threat of EEE and West Nile virus.

State Epidemiologist Dr. Catherine brown says we’re still getting through a three-year outbreak of Triple-E.

Most of the cases in the last three years have come out of the swampy southeastern part of the state in Plymouth and Bristol counties.

The state began trapping and testing mosquitos last week.
