Review Of Vineyard Wind Project Will Resume

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management is announcing it will resume its review of the proposed renewable energy project from Vineyard Wind.

The new head of the BOEM under the Biden administration says offshore wind has the potential to help the U.S. combat climate change, improve resilience through reliable power, and spur economic development.

Vineyard Wind paused the wind turbine assembly project near Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket in the last month of the Trump administration, which had a less-favorable view on wind energy.
