Review Of Cape Cod Coronavirus Vaccine Call

During a public information call by the Barnstable County Covid-19 Task Force last night, politicians, health care leaders and county officials gave a rundown on the current vaccine situation here on the Cape.

The issue continues to be the availability of the shots. Barnstable County Health Department Director Sean O’brien said that on average the region receives about 975 doses in each shipment from state and federal officials, creating a backlog in shots. But Cape Cod Healthcare CEO Michael Lauf says they are working with what they have.
