Massachusetts State House Rejects Abortion Amendment

The State House is rejecting Governor Charlie Baker's amendment to a provision in the budget on abortion.

Baker sought to change language in the bill that makes abortions more accessible to 16 and 17-year-olds.

Baker says he cannot support allowing 16 and 17-year-olds to get abortions without the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian.

It's unclear how the senate plans to address the baker amendment.
