Cape Receives First Round Of Coronavirus Vaccine

The rollout of Coronavirus vaccines is underway on Cape Cod.

The first shots were received by nurses at Cape Cod Hospital on Tuesday.

Massachusetts Health and Human Services Secretary Mary Lou Sutters says the state and federal government are responsible for ordering and delivering the vaccine but then health care facilities are responsible for determining the order of vaccination.

The head of Cape Cod Healthcare says the network received nearly 3,000 doses in the initial shipment.
