Cyber Attack Disrupts Remote Learning For Sandwich Students

A cyber-attack is reportedly disrupting remote-learning for students in the Sandwich School District.

The issue was initially thought to be a firewall problem, but it has since been identified as a malware attack, when someone tries to overwhelm an online server with too much traffic, according to superintendent Pamela Gould.

The Enterprise reports that last Thursday, teachers had to go home to continue  classes.

Officials are hoping to have everything fixed today, as it is a remote-learning day for all students.
