State House Considers Measure For Those Who Fail To Stop For Police

The State House has moved to reading a measure that would increase the penalties on people who fail to stop for police when directed to.

In addition, the measure would increase fines to people who refuse to present their driver’s license when ordered to by police unless there is a good reason.

The measure is expected to be approved. It was authorized by State Rep Tim Whelan.
