Wellfleet Police Chief Michael Hurley says his department has received a grant from the Executive Office of Public Safety to increase the number of impaired driving patrols in town.
The Chief says that all it takes is one impaired driver to endanger an entire community.
According to the latest numbers - 11 percent of the drivers involved in fatal crashes were found with both alcohol and drugs in their systems.
