The Yarmouth Police Department says an intoxicated man was detained after allegedly entering the wrong house, which was lived in by a police officer.
The off-duty Yarmouth officer reportedly informed the police department of an unknown male attempting to enter her home overnight Sunday, and that she held him at gunpoint.
Investigating officers reportedly determined the individual was very drunk and disoriented, and he was escorted home.
No charges will be filed, according to the YPD.
