In Mashpee, a 33 year old son is accused of stabbing his mother and hitting her with a chair in a Falmouth Road Condo.
Andrew Mrozinski was arraigned in Falmouth District Court yesterday for assault to murder and other charges and was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing next week. Authorities say the victim of the stabbing at a condominium was his 70-year-old mother.
Another victim of the assault who suffered lesser injuries told police Mrozinski had taken LSD and smoked marijuana with him before the incident.
Mrozinski was naked when police arrived, and they had to use a Taser on him.
Officials have not provided a motive but they do say they have evidence that LSD was taken at some point prior or during the attack.
