The State Department of Revenue says that if you were late with taxes because of the tornado last week, they are going to forgive late penalties for residents in Barnstable, Brewster, Chatham, Dennis, Harwich, Mashpee, Sandwich and Yarmouth.
You still have to file though. The grace period will be for four months and then they will re-evaluate.
