Martha's Vineyard Bus Drivers Reach Settlement

Unionized bus drivers on Martha's Vineyard return to work on Thursday after reaching their first ever contract agreement. The drivers approved the contract yesterday by a vote of 32 to one. The deal calls for pay increases and protections for seniority, but will not expand health insurance. The drivers walked off the job last month, saying their pay was too low to cover the island's high cost of living.
