It took a lot longer than anyone wanted, but the Yarmouth Selectmen have announced they will appeal the dismissal of a lawsuit over the funding for a new regional middle school with Dennis.
The appeal all but kills any chance for state funding for the project in the near future.
But officials say that while the suit continues through the court system, they hope that Yarmouth and Dennis can find a way to work out their differences over funding of the project.
