County Commissioners in Barnstable have taken back a vote shutting off water to the Fire Training Academy.
The area fire chiefs brought public safety and training concerns to the board yesterday.
The issue centers on PFAS, a chemical inside of the firefighting foam. It has been an environmental concern throughout the state-particularly around areas of water.
