Wave Damages Steamship Authority Ferry

A large wave caused damage to a Steamship Authority ferry on Friday, but no injuries were reported. The high-speed ferry Iyanough was hit by the wave as it was halfway through a trip to Hyannis. One of the passenger doors that leads to the ship's cabin was dented, and a loading gate was ripped away, according to the Steamship Authority. The vessel's later trips on Friday were canceled due to weather, and then resumed on Saturday.
