Cape Cod Community College To Offer New Funeral Service Program.

4 C’s To Host Open House For New Funeral Service Program

2/28/19

Cape Cod Community College will host its first open house on Saturday for prospective students in their new Funeral Service degree program.

The Open House will take place at Bridgewater State University on March 2nd, in Burnell Hall, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Guests can tour the college’s new state-of-the-art facilities housed entirely at B.S.U. meet faculty members and get on-the-spot acceptance if high school transcripts are presented.

Cape Cod Community College picked up the Funeral Service Course after the abrupt closing of Mt. Ida College in 2018 displaced students in their Funeral Service Program with no path to complete their degree.

4 C’s is working with B.S.U. to provide students with lab-space where they will be centrally located with access to on campus housing and other amenities.

Students in the program began their 4 C’s teach-out in October and in mid-January five former Mt. Ida students officially earned their degrees as the first graduates of the Funeral Service Program.
