Housing and Economic Development Secretary Jay Ash was also in Orleans on Monday. He joined Orleans Town Administrator John Kelly, local community leaders to announce a $1.5 million MassWorks Infrastructure Program grant to the town for the reconstruction of Main Street between Route 6A and Route 28.
This grant will allow Orleans to rebuild Main Street completely. The Town will also add streetscape amenities to compliment the reconstructed road in the heart of downtown Orleans.
