3 Wareham Establishments Cited for Serving Minors

Wareham Police conducted a compliance check on August 9 of establishments that serve alcohol. The purpose of the check was to see if any of the businesses were serving alcohol to minors.

More than 40 restaurants, bars, and clubs were checked and three of the locations failed.

Wareham Police say in addition to the punishment that the businesses will face, the person who sold the liquor will be criminally charged.

Being summoned to Wareham District Court for the charge, selling liquor to a person under 21, are

Jackielyn Lima, 23, of Onset – Stonebridge Bistro, 5 East Boulevard, Onset.

Karen Moore, 46, of Middleborough – Americana Café, 208r Main Street.

 Amanda Wigmore, 41, of Foxboro – Bay Pointe Clubhouse
