YPD to Build Sgt. Sean M. Gannon Training Facility

The Yarmouth Police Department is going to build a new training center for its officers.

Deputy Police Chief Steven Xiarhos says the new center will be called the Sgt. Sean M. Gannon Memorial Training Center and will be built on the grounds of the Yarmouth Police Department on Higgins Crowell Rd. Xiarhos says the new facility will help keep their Police Officers and canines safer for generations to come.

The New England Chapter of American Public Works Association, led by President John Westerling and his Leadership Team, were in Yarmouth for their annual convention and stopped by at the end of their week with a $1,045 cash donation to the Yarmouth Police Foundation in honor and memory of fallen Yarmouth K9 Sergeant Sean Gannon.
