Members of the Yarmouth Police Department, the Mass State Police/Cape Cod Task Force, and the Mass State Police “STOP” team executed a “no knock” search warrant early Friday morning at 40 Salt Marsh Lane in West Yarmouth resulting in the arrest of two people on drug possession and distribution charges.
The target of the investigation, 43-year old Rodney Ferguson was placed under arrest as was 32-year old Barbara Collins of the same address.
Officers seized heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, and cash in the raid. Ferguson, a convicted felon with 69 prior criminal charges in Massachusetts in addition to other charges in Rhode Island and Florida, and Collins were placed under arrest and taken to YPD Headquarters for booking. They were arraigned in Barnstable District Court on possession and trafficking charges.
