The Family Pantry of Cape Cod has announced its 2018 Gala Honorees.
The Pantry says this year’s Founders Award, which recognizes someone with the Founders core values, will be presented to the Cape Cod Chronicle and Publisher Hank Hyora. The Chronicle has supported the Family Pantry for nearly three decades.
The 2018 President’s Award, which recognizes someone who has supported the pantry significantly over many years, will be presented to Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod. AmeriCorps has supported the Pantry over the past six years, working primarily in the 9,000 sq. foot Family Pantry garden.
The 7th Annual Family Pantry of Cape Cod Summer Gala will be on Sunday, June 24, at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich from 5 to 8 p.m.
