Some roadwork in Provincetown may disrupt traffic over the next month.
The State Department of Transportation, or MassDOT, has started a work project at the breakwater rotary at the end of Province Lands Road, near 1 Commercial Street.
The work includes a reinforced concrete sidewalk with wooden rails and concrete posts, new traffic signs and supports, and general cleanup of the area.
The work is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and should take about 30 days to complete.
