Power outages across Cape Cod and the Islands are ramping up as a dangerous nor’easter pummels the Massachusetts coast.
Eversource is reporting that 6,965, or 78%, of their customers in Brewster have lost power as of 11:30 a.m. In Mashpee, 3,421 Eversource customers have lost power. Other communities with significant power outages include Harwich (976), Falmouth (609), Yarmouth (344), Bourne (299), and Orleans (272).
On Martha’s Vineyard, 119 Eversource customers in West Tisbury have lost power as of 11:30 a.m.
