Work on Chatham’s sewer system continues this week.
Starting today, crews will work on The Cornfield, off of Route 28. From there, crews will move to Inlet Road for sewer installation. In addition, crews will be working on Absegami [ab-seh-GAM-ee] Run and Oyster Pond Furlong. Work is expected to continue next week on Inlet Road and Absegami Run.
Normal work hours are from 7a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Police details will be in place to assist motorists in the event of detours.
