An Eastham man is facing charges of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon following an incident Tuesday night at the Town Crier Motel.
Eastham Police responding to reports of the assault found the victim in the motel parking lot with blood on his face and hands. He told officers he had been struck at close range by pellets from a pellet gun and struck in the face with the butt of the gun. He was taken to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
Arrested was Stanley Cannon, 35, of Eastham, who is facing two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. Cannon was arraigned in Orleans District Court and ordered held on $1,000 cash bail pending a pre-trial hearing February 28th.
