9TH District Congressman Bill Keating has some serious concerns over the federal budget passed by the U.S. House on Thursday.
Keating says the budget slashes a half-a-trillion dollars from the Medicare program for people aged 65 and over. It also cuts $1.4 trillion from Medicaid, the government subsidized health program for low income families.
Keating says the cuts will seriously impact the healthcare of thousands of people on the Cape and Islands.
