Thanks to a grant from Cape Air, more than 200 children from the Cape Cod Child Development summer program enjoyed day-long excursions to the Heritage Museums and Gardens this month.
The pre-schoolers got to enjoy the gardens, nature trails, and exhibits while also taking part in a scavenger hunt.
Heritage Museums and Gardens President and CEO, Ellen Spear, says they are deeply appreciative of the generous support provided by Cape Air and its dedication to the community.
Cape Air President, Linda Markham, says it is their hope that sharing the magic of the Heritage Museums & Gardens with local children will heighten their sense of curiosity and wonder for the world around them.
