Cotuit Man Charged in Wife's Death Back in Court

A pre-trial hearing today for the Cotuit man charged with the murder of his wife.

Christopher Fratantonio, 36, has pleaded not guilty to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Barnstable Police say Fratantonio admitted to killing his wife, Mary Fratantonio, 35, when they arrived at their home on Trout Brook Road the morning of February 28. Police say Fratantonio also directed them to the murder weapon and why he killed his wife.

Mary Fratantonio was a special education teacher at Barnstable High School.
