The identity of the woman who perished in Friday’s fire in Bourne has been released by the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office.
Maureen Marzelli-White, 65, was trapped inside her cottage on the second floor and efforts by firefighters to rescue her were unsuccessful because of heavy fire and smoke. Marzelli-White’s dog also died in the fire which remains under investigation.
