A single car accident in Lakeville has claimed the life of a Wareham man.
Mass State Police responded shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday to the crash on Route 140 North between Exits 8 and 9.
A 2007 Toyota Camry operated by Thomas Kilroe, 50, of Wareham – for reasons yet to be determined – went off the right side of the road and struck a tree. Kilroe was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
