The Osterville Village Library Welcomes The New Bedford Whaling Museum with an exciting lecture "A Day in The Life Of A Whaling Voyage"

Topics of discussion to include: A day in the life of a Whaling Voyage: Crews, vessel description, the business, geography, products.

We outline and discuss details of the business; New Bedford, Nantucket, arctic whaling, and 20th-century whaling.

Sister Sailors : Whaling Wives

Baleen and harpoon demonstration included.

This talk will be given by docents Captain Michael Taylor and Nancy Gentile.
